Kale Lemon Smoothie

When I was getting ready to get married last year, my “wedding diet” didn’t consist of starving myself or depriving myself in any way. Instead, I added in as many greens, super foods, juices, and smoothies that I knew would make my hair and skin glow! This green smoothie has been my go-to breakfast for the last few months. Sometimes I also add spirulina powder to the mix for an extra boost in the morning.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 bunch kale
  • 1/2 lemon, peeled
  • 1 banana
  • 1 handful frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds

Directions:

  1. Blend
  2. Enjoy!
